What you're claiming
Every Tavvi business gets a public page on the open web, customers don't need the app to see it. Yours lives at tavvi.fornaxlink.com/u/yourhandle, and the handle is the part you pick. That one link carries your gallery, services, booking calendar, reviews, and shop, the whole "link in bio" job, except people can actually pay you on it.
Handles are first come, first served across all of Tavvi. If your business name is short and common, claim it today even if the page itself isn't dressed up yet.
Pick a handle that works
The rules, so nothing bounces:
- 3 to 30 characters, letters, numbers, underscores, and dashes only.
- Can't start or end with an underscore or dash, and no two in a row.
- Taken is taken. Reserved and offensive names are blocked.
Advice that outlasts the rules: use the name customers already know you by on Instagram. If @sugarbloomcakes is your IG, sugarbloomcakes is your handle, same name everywhere is how people find you twice.
Claim it
On the business side, open Settings and find your public page setup, the Public Page section. The Finish your page checklist will also walk you straight there.
Under Your handle, type your pick. The field checks availability as you type.
Tap Claim handle. Done, the link is live and yours.
Put the link to work
Copy it into your Instagram bio, your TikTok, your text signature, anywhere "DM me to order" used to live. Then read "Make your page yours" (cover, bio, portfolio) and "Share your link" (QR codes, bio setup) to finish the job.
If something's off
- Everything you want is taken. Add your city or craft:
sugarbloom-atl,lashesbymaria-tx. Shorter isn't worth a name nobody recognizes. - You claimed a typo. Handles can be changed in the same place, but every printed QR and bio link with the old handle stops working, so fix it early or live with it.
- The field keeps rejecting your name. Re-read the two format rules above; it's almost always a leading/trailing dash or a double underscore.
