Create your business on Tavvi

From a fresh download to a working business account, what the signup actually asks, what "presence mode" means, and what to do right after.

Before you start: Your business name (your own name is fine if that's the brand), a rough idea of what you sell, and 5 minutes. No paperwork, no LLC required, no fee.

Two accounts? No, one account, two sides

Tavvi is one app with a customer side and a business side. You sign up once as yourself, then create your business on top of that account. So if the app drops you into the shopping side first, nothing's wrong, that's step one.

  1. Sign up with your email, phone, or Apple/Google sign-in.

  2. Find My Businesses and tap Register Business. If you see a card that says Ready to start selling?, that's the same door.

What the registration asks

  1. Business Details, your business name and what kind of business it is: food, services (lashes, hair, tutoring, photography), or retail. This shapes what your register looks like, so pick what's closest to how you actually make money.

  2. How you work. This is the question that trips people up, so here's the translation: I have a storefront means customers come to a fixed spot. I visit my customers means you go to them, mobile detailing, MUA gigs. I work from home, home baker, home studio. I work online, you sell without ever meeting. There is no wrong answer; it just tunes your defaults. Pick the closest.

  3. Location. With a storefront, this is your shop's address, customers see it. Working from home? Your address helps place you on the map for local discovery, but pick what you're comfortable with; you can review what's public on your page later.

  4. Terms. Read, agree, done.

What you're looking at now

You land on the business side of the app, your store's home screen, laid out for your business type. It'll feel like a lot of buttons. Ignore most of them. There's a getting-started checklist on this screen; it's genuinely the fastest path, and it boils down to three things:

Everything else, printers, your public page, delivery, layers on whenever you're ready.
